Social Events

Four social events are planed:

• Welcome Party on Thursday (23-Aug-2012) 18:00 at "Chill Inn"
• City tour in Valmiera on Friday (24-Aug-2012) 18:00 - 20:00
• Field trip on Sunday (26-Aug-2012) 11:30 - 20:00:
  • 11:20 – Gathering outside the Vidzeme University
  • 11:30 – Departure
  • 12:00 – Excursion and lunch in a guest house "Lantus"
  • 14:15 – Tasting of shiitake mushrooms and honey in the bio-farm "Dulbeņi"
  • 15:30 – Excursion in the farm "Vildēni". There are black ostriches, more than 20 sorts of hens, peacock, ducks and turkeys. We will see ponies, goats, sheeps and other animals.
  • 16:30 – Excursion and bear tasting in the brewery "Valmiermuiža"
  • 18:50 – Sietiņiezis
  • 20:00 – Return to Valmiera
• Farewell Party on Tuesday (28-Aug-2012) 19:00 at "Ceturtais Cēliens"

The cost of all social events is included in the registration fee.
