Instructions for Speakers
Lectures
Main and invited lecturers are invited to publish their materials (abstract, paper or slides of presentation) of the lectures in the workshop publication. It is not mandatory. Please send your materials to be included in the workshop publication till 30 June 2012 by e-mail to martins.liberts@csb.gov.lv.
Please use a templates for a contributed paper if submitting a paper.
Contributed papers
Participants presenting a contributed paper are kindly asked to submit a 4-8 pages long paper. It is necessary because a discussant will be assigned to each contributed paper. The paper will help a discussant to prepare in advance for a discussion. The collection of contributed papers will be published by the Central Statistical Bureau of Latvia before the workshop. Please send your contributed paper to be included in the workshop publication till 30 June 2012 by e-mail to martins.liberts@csb.gov.lv.

Presentations
The main auditorium (room number 229) of the workshop will be equipped with a computer, a projector and a whiteboard.Posters
A poster session is announced. Please inform an organisers by e-mail to martins.liberts@csb.gov.lv if you are willing to present a poster. A contributed paper is not mandatory for a poster. Discussants will not be assigned for posters. Please send an abstract or a paper about your poster.
Posters will be displayed at the main auditorium of the workshop (room number 229). Poster has to be displayed for the entire duration of the poster session. The poster should be put up on before the session start not later than 16.00. The author/authors are required to be present at the poster during the poster session.
Please follow the guidelines in order to efficiently communicate the results of the research presented in the poster to the workshop participants:
- The dimensions of the poster should not exceed 90 cm across and 120 cm in length (A0, portrait).
- Poster need to be perceptible from a distance of 1.5 m.
- The heading should have letters at least 35 mm high.
- Title of the paper, authors, institution and contact information has to be shown on the poster.
